ABC will air the Grammy Awards next year for the first time since the Nixon administration, and today we got the showdate. The 69th Grammys ceremony is set for Sunday, February 9, returning to Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
ABC is kicking off its 10-year deal with the Recording Academy inked in October 2024, and the show also will stream live on Hulu and Disney+. The news was part of Disney’s Upfront presentation Tuesday in Manhattan.
The Alphabet Network last carried the Music Biggest Night way back in 1972. CBS had aired the Grammys ever since.

ABC on Tuesday also revealed the timeline for the 69th annual trophy show, with nominations set to be announced on Monday, November 16. See all the key dates below.
“The Grammys are all about celebrating the music that moves the world, and this moment is built on exactly that,” Grammys CEO Harvey Mason Jr said in a statement. “This is an exciting time for us as an organization — a new home and a bold new chapter for the Grammys Awards. We’re just getting started, and the best is yet to come.”
It was a historic 68th Grammys back in February, when Bad Bunny won Album of the Year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos, the first Spanish-language disc to win that prize; Kendrick Lamar took Record of the Year for “Luther,” becoming the first male artist and first rapper to win the category in back-to-back years; and Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell won Song of the Year for “Wildflower,” the first artists to score a career trifecta for that award.
