EXCLUSIVE: Peacock’s ad-free tier, Premium Plus, will soon be available on Roku Premium Subscriptions under a new agreement between NBCUniversal and the major streaming provider.

Along with being ad-free (outside of live sports) the highest plan of Peacock allows users to download programming for offline viewing and also provides geo-targeted local TV stations. It costs $16.99 per month or $169.99 a year. Availability on Roku Premium Subscriptions is slated to begin in the coming weeks.

The latest agreement builds on longtime ties between NBCU and Roku, spanning FAST channels and the promotion of Peacock programming across Roku.

The companies have teamed to create an NBC Olympics hub for the Paris 2024 Summer Games. They also collaborated on a dedicated hub for Roku customers for the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, with both companies deeming the results a success.

NBCU also has done recent deals to secure distribution for Peacock on Amazon Prime Video Channels and YouTube PrimeTime Channels. The latter deal is due to take effect in the coming weeks.

The Premium Subscriptions hub is fully integrated across the Roku platform, giving it reach to 100 million global households. Roku has integrated dozens of SVOD offerings into its premium hub, which lets viewers use a single login and experience less friction with payments and management of subscriptions.

Peacock ended 2025 with 44 million subscribers after adding three million in the fourth quarter. It drove a lot of the subscriber gains with the addition of NBA games, with more subscribers coming in this year for the month dubbed “Legendary February” by NBCU marketers. In the month of February, Peacock and NBCU had the Super Bowl, the Milan Winter Olympics and the NBA All-Star Game. On Thursday, Comcast will report updated numbers for Peacock when it releases first-quarter earnings results.
